Where were the angels when God created the world? Why did an angel force a donkey off a road? Who did the angels get out of jail twice? Young readers will find answers to these and other questions in this exciting storybook, written by bestselling author Allia Zobel Nolan with illustrations by Alida Massari. Angels in the Bible Storybook gives children a fascinating look into how God’s powerful behind-the-scenes helpers interacted with Bible greats from Abraham, Lot, and Gideon to Zechariah, Mary, and Jesus himself, acting as messengers, protectors, warriors, and more.
My Review:
Christmastime is a time where we think a lot about angels probably because they played a significant role in the birth of Jesus. I know in my Sunday School class we have been discussing the subject of “angels” a lot lately. Who are they? What important jobs does God use them for? And why I can’t answer every single question about them I can answer the few I have been receiving but now with this very neat storybook you can help your children understand this subject so much further.
Many times in the Bible we hear or read about Heavenly messengers or angels. They were either sent to deliver messages or to fight. Above all they are made to do as God instructs them to do. Angels in the Bible Storybook explains each of the stories throughout the Bible that include these heavenly creatures. A book to definitely add to your reading list this season!
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
