Simplicity is the Amish way. You can’t have utter chaos, that goes completely against God and against the Amish community. You just can’t!
So when tragedy strikes and it leaves it’s ugly marks, things get complicated and chaotic real quick and a lifestyle that seemed oh so simple starts to unravel and what is seen behind the unraveling is beyond hurtful to say the least.
Anna is struck down in the most unlikely of circumstances, a tornado hits Cody’s Creek and the devastation left behind will stay with Anna forever. She becomes a paraplegic as a result and life just got real, real quick. She has to learn what her life will be like because now no matter how devastating it is she will have a new life and different one, entirely.
Can God still heal today? Can the events that took place in the Bible still happen today? You will find that in Anna’s Healing, that it most certainly can and will if only we believe.
Vannetta Chapman is a brilliant writer. She draws you in with the simple and when she lowers the “hammer” as they say, it is light as a feather and you don’t realize it until you turn that last page. She has strong characters that make you fall in love with them right away and her writing is cohesive and steady throughout. I love her writing and she knows I’m her biggest fan!
**Disclosure** this book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Harvest House.
