My Review:
Sometimes after a very hard day with my children in particular, I just think to myself–where is God in this? I’m tired and parched and He seems to be no where around. But blessedly, He is there, He is always there. Just when we think He maybe MIA–that’s when we are pleasantly surprised by a Father that reassures us of our place in His family.

Practically speaking there are many times as a mom that you want to run and hide, especially if you have very young children and maybe your husband isn’t there to help a lot of the times. I know I have tried many things in the book in the past and the authors touched on these in the book. These suggestions really will work, especially if you aren’t able to leave your kids at any given time. Get outside is a good suggestion. Get the kids bundled up and head outdoors for some fresh air.

Turn on some music and try to slow dance with your babies. They could probably use some close time with mom and seeing her relaxed could do their hearts good, as well. The authors give you several suggestions on how to unwind while you still have the children with you–so even you moms out there that have to hold down the fort alone have options.

This book is a great book full of tons of information that can help any weary mom on any given day. The authors share a few lessons from their parenting to help us all look all the resistance and tiredness straight in the eyes and fight back instead of retreating to the nearest corner.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Harvest House.
