My Review:
If you would like to take a short ride through the history of how the United States came to be you can do just that in Mike Berenstain’s latest The Berenstain Bears God Bless Our Country. In this sweet tale the fourth of July our National Independence Day is upon us and Brother and Sister are busy getting ready for the Bear Country Fourth of July Parade, but they weren’t the only ones. Mama and Papa had things to do themselves. It was going to be quite the day, the whole town was excited.

The cubs thought that they were getting ready for a parade but soon it was understood that it was a birthday party as well and they were very curious to find out what all the birthday fuss was about, so Mama and Papa proceeded to tell them just that.

Mama and Papa shared with the cubs what it means to truly be American and how our nation is a nation founded on God himself and that is a great right and privilege to live in such a great nation.
